  Government regulations are now demanding increased accountability from corporations. The Sarbanes – Oxley (SOX) act requires that you can account for your fixed assets at all times and that they are located where you say they are. The Maintainer Asset Tracking program gives you the tool for documenting each move of your assets and updating the location in your records including the name of the person receiving it in the new place. When audited by government representatives, you will be reasonably sure to find the assets in the recorded location.
  Audit Trail of Asset History
  The Maintainer Asset Tracking program records all company actions on the asset with dates and persons responsible. This could be all or any of the following
  •Moves between company locations, like operating units and storage
  •Moves between company and outside locations like vendors or renters
  •Maintenance work, planned and un-planned, including Spare Parts
  •Condition of asset
  •Usage of asset like hour meter readings with date
  
  Records of these actions are kept in the system and can be accessed as required for reporting and analysis
  Asset Tracking Function
  •Set up an asset Move Order with work flow for approval and execution
  •A Move Order can contain several fixed assets and other items going to the same
  •A move can be set up with each leg of the trip defined and tracked for completion
  •Transport documentation with names and sign
  •Tracking status of moves
  •Move history for individual assets
  •Find Assets reports customized by user filtered on any asset details and showing only the required report columns
